Hilary Robinson

Hilary Robinson is an award-winning freelance producer for the BBC Faith and Ethics department and is the Chair of Judges for the 2015 Frank Gillard Awards and the 2015 Sandford St Martin Broadcast Awards. She is the author of over 50 picture books for children.

Hilary regularly  produces Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday and has produced a number of documentaries and book adaptations for the network.  

Her programmes include: Lenny Bruce Is Dead; The Robeson Files; Behind Enemy Lines; In His Hands; Private Peaceful; Tie A Thousand Trees With Ribbons; and D Day 60 Years On.

In 2011 she formed her own production and publishing company Strauss House Productions.  

Forthcoming network radio commissions include Barry Humphries Musical Masterpieces and The Sheila Tracy Tapes

Her books Where The Poppies Now Grow and The Christmas Truce have been shortlisted for several awards and The Copper Tree series, written for to support the wellbeing of children, will be launched in the US in 2016.
