Premio Valle Inclán (Spanish)

The Premio Valle Inclán is an annual prize of £2,000 for translations into English of full length Spanish language works of literary merit and general interest.

The prize was established in 1997.

The 2015 Premio Valle Inclán, for translations published in 2014, went to Anne McLean, for her translation of Outlaws by Javier Cercas (Bloomsbury). 

The 2017 Premio Valle Inclán, for books published in 2016, will be awarded in 2018. 

Entries to the 2018 Premio Valle Inclán, for books published in 2017, are now open.
