CWIG AGM and Futures of Publishing: a wild brainstorm
Tuesday 13 November

Annual General Meeting

5.30pm

The AGM will consist of the Chairman’s Report by Helena Pielichaty (Chair) followed by Committee elections. Nicola Davies, Patrick Ness and Bali Rai are retiring and replacements are being sought. Please send your suggestions to Jo McCrum (Secretary). John Dougherty, Sarah McIntyre and Nicola Smee are continuing to serve. The Committee will present their nominations in advance of the AGM, but their recommendation to date is that Michaela Morgan extends her tenure for another year to continue working on our reading for pleasure and literacy campaigns.

Futures of Publishing: a wild brainstorm

Nana Li, Jamie Smart, Gary Northfield and Alex Milway
Chaired by Sarah McIntyre

Everyone's talking about eBooks, but what other exciting things are happening in publishing for children: in print, digital media and beyond? What could we make happen? Might books have not just one future but many futures? Join us in looking forward toward new possibilities in storytelling and marketing our work. Bring your ideas!
