Tax Talks for Authors

Barry Kernon and Andrew Subramaniam are senior accountants in HW Fisher & Company’s Authors & Journalists Team. During these talks they will cover income tax (expenses, claims, how to save tax, etc), record keeping, VAT, taxation of copyrights, manuscripts and various other tax and accounting related matters.
The same talk will be held on two separate dates:
- Monday 11 June, 10.30am - 12.30pm (event ID 388)
- Monday 18 June, 3 - 5pm (event ID 389)
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes beforehand in order to register.
The nearest underground stations are Warren Street and Euston Square (view map here). Space limits us to 40 people per session. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. These talks are for members and associates only. If we are over-subscribed, HW Fisher has kindly agreed to hold further meetings in the autumn.
How to book
The cost of attending is £10 for members, including VAT.
To reserve a place, please email Jessica Atkinson specifying which day you would prefer to attend.
Payment can be made by sending a cheque (payable to the Society of Authors) to 84 Drayton Gardens, London SW10 9SB, ensuring that the event ID 388 OR 389 is written on the reverse. Alternatively you can telephone our office on 0207 373 6642 to pay by debit or credit card.
All bookings will be confirmed in writing once payment has been received.
