Do you work in the primary or secondary education sector?
Venue: Clephan Building, De Montfort University, Oxford Street, Leicester LE1 5XY
Writing East Midlands, Writing West Midlands, NAWE and De Montford University invite you to benefit from a skills sharing day on Saturday 16 June.
This event is for any writers currently working in the primary or secondary education sector who wish to benefit from a sharing of skills and experiences in running creative writing activities with children and young people.
The Skill Sharing Day will include sixteen facilitated workshops, each focusing on an aspect of the work of writers in schools. You will be able to attend up to four workshops and there will be plenty of time for informal discussion between sessions. The facilitators are experienced writers in schools and are giving their time for free in order to support the development of writers in schools work nationally. For more information, click here.
Places are limited and bookings should be received by Friday 1 June 2012.
The day will also be useful to anyone managing writers in schools work.
The event is being organized as a partnership between NAWE, Writing West Midlands, Writing East Midlands and De Montfort University.
