- Hilary Parnall (Chair) is a writer of ELT materials, and has written and co-written course books, supplementary materials, videos and CD-ROMs for various publishers. She is also currently Chief Inspector for the British Council Accreditation UK scheme.
- Chris Barker has co-written ELT courses for the secondary and adult sectors. He has also written supplementary materials for those sectors.
- Dick Bateman is a retired teacher and teacher trainer, and a Chartered Geographer (Education). He has written and co-written over 20 secondary school textbooks and most recently authored two geography Key Stage Three books for Folens (now incorporated into Oxford University Press), which were published in 2008.
- Marie-Thérèse Bougard is a writer of MFL. She has written and co-written courses and supplementary materials for various publishers - including OUP, the BBC and Nelson Thornes.
- Anita Loughrey has written a wide range of educational materials for the primary school market, from photocopiable resources to children’s illustrated non-fiction. She also has a monthly column in Writers’ Forum about authors and the research they undertake for their books, and reviews for the Write Away and Armadillo websites.
- Philip Prowse is a freelance ELT author and trainer. He has co-authored secondary and adult courses and written graded readers. He is Series Editor of Cambridge English Readers and Reviews Editor of English Language Teaching Journal.
- Jenny Vaughan is a writer/editor of children’s non-fiction, reading scheme books, test and assessment passages etc.
- Russell Whitehead writes for EFL. He specialises in materials for electronic delivery and mainly in assessment, for which he produces actual and practice exam material and guidance materials. He also provides consultancy for publishers.
