To create or change your profile on either the 'search for an author' or the 'search for a translator' database, you must login to the members area of the site using your membership number and postcode (which must be entered in lower case with no spaces), or, if you live abroad, your email address.
When you have successfully logged in, choose either 'Edit my Writer Profile' or 'Edit my Translator Profile' as appropriate. You may then:
- enter a personal statement
- give details of your subject areas and the types of work you are prepared to undertake
- upload a photograph
- choose how you prefer to be contacted
You may also take advantage of the bookshelf facility - a way of advertising and selling your own books from your profile - by clicking 'Add a new publication' on the right-hand side of the screen.
