Start the Story Author Directory is part of the Start the Story magazine. This online directory has been put together to recognise the importance of getting authors into schools and talking face to face with pupils.

Although there are other lists of authors out there, the aim of this one is to become the definitive directory of author contact details, thanks to their existing relationships with primary and secondary schools across the UK and beyond.

Start the Story wants to help both authors and schools by helping them connect. They'll also be sharing advice for both schools and authors on how to make sure author school events have a real lasting benefit for all involved. Head over to the directory now and get searching.
