The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year 2008

The winner of the The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year 2008 award, which is administered by the Society of Authors, was announced at the Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival on Sunday 6th April.

Adam Foulds was chosen as the winner of the £5,000 prize, open to writers under 35 of fiction, non-fiction or poetry.

He is a graduate of the MA Creative Writing  programme at the University of East Anglia and his poetry has appeared in a number of literary magazines. He also won a Betty Trask Award in 2007 for The Truth About These Strange Times.
