Mrs Lucy Tomkins
Personal Statement: Former national newspaper journalist now novelist, writing under the name Lucy Abelson. Three published novels, the "Passion Principle", "Murder in a Surrey Tribe", and "Ancestral Hazard". As the mother of three children, including a mentally disadvantaged child, and six grandchildren, I am interested in social care, the role of handicapped people in society. I also study wild life, especially the behaviour of animals which is reflected in my work. I am also a keen golfer.
