Personal Statement: Author of fiction and non-fiction books. My latest fictions: 'A Type of Beauty, the story of Kathleen Newton (1854-1882)' and 'Time & Destiny' (Irish designer Eileen Gray). Currently I am particularly interested in the genre of fact-led historical fiction. Non-fiction includes 'Writing for the Market' and 'Writing for Success', tying in with my work with emerging writers both as part of UCD's Adult Education Programme, around Ireland and on-line. I love anything to do with words and am an avid reader.
