The Save Kensal Rise Library Campaign Group are asking you to put your money where your books should be by making a donation to save their library.

Goal: £70,000 by 7 September 2012
£34,688 pledged so far
The Save Kensal Rise Library Campaign Group urgently needs financial support to strengthen their bid to All Souls College, the owners of the library building. They need to raise enough funds to secure the first year of operations (which includes urgent repairs to the building). They have a strong business plan and are confident they can make the library self-sustaining in the long-run. But they need your help now. They are asking residents, friends and supporters to pledge a donation towards their target of £70,000.
They need these pledges urgently - by 7 September - when their proposal needs to be with All Souls College. The Group will only collect a payment if their bid to All Souls is successful. If they are unsuccessful, you will not donate anything.
In recognition of your support, they will be delighted to offer you the chance to have your name, or the name of a loved one, on any of the items below, in perpetuity. This will be a testament today, and for generations to come, of the strength of the community and the success of the Save Kensal Rise Campaign.
- Your name on the wall (large) £1,000
- Your name on the wall (smaller) £500
- Name a shelf £300
- Sketch (+name) of you in the library crowd £100 pp
- Sponsor a chair £50
- Adopt a book £20
The Save Kensal Rise Library Campaign Group would like to thank Daniels for their continuous support throughout the campaign, and for being the first local business to pledge 10K towards their target.
