(Bloomsbury) and the best-selling 'Hamish McHaggis' series (GWP) to edgy teenage novels- the award winning  'Spider', 'Dead Boy Talking' and Don't Judge Me (Strident Publishing). I have written books used in schools all over the world and also a writing handbook for adults 'Writing for Children' (A & C Black/Bloomsbury) for all new and aspiring writers which discusses different markets and different kinds of books for different ages. It includes a section on information for 'after you are published'. I travel widely as a guest speaker at festivals, also speaking to audiences in primary and secondary schools and universities about writing and as a creative writing tutor, working with university and adult creative writing groups.
