Katrina Naomi

Katrina is a poet, tutor/poetry mentor, translator and critic.

Katrina’s third full collection is Wild Persistence (Seren, June 2020), and she was grateful to have an Author's Foundation award from the Society of Authors for work on this new book. Her poetry has appeared in Poems on the Underground and on BBC Radio 4's Front Row and Poetry PleaseShe recently received an Arts Council/British Council Artists' International Development award to travel to Japan. Typhoon Etiquette – a pamphlet of her poetry inspired by this trip and her fourth pamphlet of poems – was published in April 2019 by Verve Poetry Press. Katrina has a PhD in creative writing from Goldsmiths and teaches for Arvon, the Poetry School and Ty Newydd.
