Hertfordshire Writers Group was founded in 2016. The group meets on the second Tuesday of every month in Hitchin for an informal chat which occasionally includes a short talk and Q&A with a group member. Members from other counties are welcome and we currently have members from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex. We also have an active Facebook group which is open to all SoA members on request.
The group includes fiction and non-fiction writers working in a variety of genres including education/textbooks, food, biography, romance, crime, history, science fiction and poetry. Further information about current members can be found here.
As well as a monthly meeting, the group also organises library talks and bookshop signings.
