David writes fiction for older children and young adults, and books on sustainability. He is also an environmental journalist and has been known to write tv and film scripts and comics.

Fiction: Stormteller (Cambria Books, 2014); Doc Chaos: The Chernobyl Effect (Cambria Books, 2013); Hybrids (HarperCollins, 2007) - "A stunningly clever novel" (The Times), winner of the HarperCollins-Saga Magazine 2006 Childrens Novelist competition, and many comics such as Marvel's Captain Britain, Doc Chaos, etc.

He was a co-founder and committee member of the London Screenwriters Workshop, and co-wrote The Fastest Forward for Comic Relief, a feature film starring Jerry Hall. He has written and edited many graphic novels. He is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
