Travel Writing

In 1998, I discovered a Honda GoldWing 1500cc motorbike and embarked on a life-changing experience with my husband, eventually writing about our journey of discovery. I love to travel and from this I developed the Just Us Two travel series. Further titles (2014-2017) include The Long leg of Italy and Island Interludes. My debut fiction story ORANGES: A Journey published in 2013 is also based on real travel settings but built on a dream.

I am an active member of GWOCGB although we do not ride a Gold Wing motorbike anymore. I edit photos and videos with specialised software.I keep in contact with the outside world through social media and networking.

I enjoy travel, music, reading, gardening, photo and video editing - and my family.

Rosalie Marsh writes on a variety of topics from hilarious biographical travel adventures to more serious stuff based on personal development – which are light-hearted and user-friendly.

Marsh says: “In the midst of pots and pans I often dreamed of writing as many story lines popped up in my head. My wide range of activities provided me with a rich seam of material.”

As ‘born-again’ bikers on a Honda Gold Wing motorbike, Marsh and her husband found their lost youth travelling on their own –Just Us Two – in Europe,

Later, this award-winning story developed into the ‘Just Us Two’ series of biographical travel adventures.

Retiring to concentrate on her writing, Marsh drew on her skills and experiences in travel and adult education. From this, the series of Lifelong Learning Personal Effectiveness Guides developed – each a big workshop in a small package.

ORANGES: A Journey is Marsh’s first fiction work, which again draws on her travel experiences from the areas she loves in Spain and Portugal. It is the precursor to a family saga which has been 'bubbling away' for many years.

Currently, (2017), Marsh has published the fourth in the Just Us Two travel series. Island Interludes: Just Us Two Escape to the Sun ‚Äč viits the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean where 'Just Us Two' bound through the islands with joy.

Embracing digital solutions, all books are always available worldwide in print and e-book formats for most devices.

Rosalie Marsh writes under a pen name.
